PlasmaBound has developed a patented technology – CPA (Controlled Polymer Ablation) – to lighten materials used in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics … through its novel composite bonding preparation process. The process greatly improves the reliability of composite bonding, allowing the generalization of its use and consequently a considerable reduction of the amount of raw materials required for sustainable product manufacturing in numerous industry sectors. In addition, this process is also effective on recycled composites.
This technology is industrialized with AcXys Technologies’ plasma equipment, allowing a high-speed and fully automated process.
